Computer Hardware, whether you’re working on a MAC or a PC, is very straight forward. Any part of the computer that is an electronic component is considered hardware. This includes but not limited to, Graphics (video) card CPU (Central Processing Unit) Motherboard Soundcard RAM (Random Access Memory) All Optical Drives (all writeable drives included) such as Blurray, DVD or CD Drives Network Adapters ANY PCI card Hard Drives Floppy Disk Drives To put it very simply, anything that you can attach to your motherboard (main board) is considered computer hardware.
